Phoenix Contact Inc. Acquires Control Software Supplier Entivity, Inc.

Phoenix Contact Inc. (www.phoenixcon.com) announced it has acquired
According to Phoenix Contact, it has been working informally with Entivity, best known for its “Steeplechase” and “Think & DO” control applications, since its inception and more closely with the software maker on joint solutions since November 2002.
“Adding Entivity’s software brands to Phoenix Contact’s solution portfolio,” says David Skelton, Director of Automation Systems for Phoenix Contact, “further strengthens our vision of modular automation as a viable, strategic alternative to traditional control architectures.”
