Euroimpianti Acquires C&D Robotics

Euroimpianti in Schio, Italy, acquired C&D Robotics, a designer and manufacturer of gantry palletizing systems and articulated arm robots, scara robots and laser-guided vehicles in Beaumont, Texas and Schio, Italy.
A producer of automated end-of-line palletizing systems and automatic truck loading, with thousands of installations in more than 40 countries, Euroimpianti will rename the combined venture, with 2008 revenues expected to exceed $31 million, as C&D Skilled Robotics.
