In connection with the third European Machine Vision Summit, the members of VDMA Machine Vision have elected a new board. Based on the former members’ vote, the board was enlarged by three additional seats, ensuring the representation of the growing non-German membership.From 2015 to 2018, the following representatives will drive and guide the activities of VDMA Machine Vision:

- Dietmar Ley, chief executive officer of Basler AG, Ahrensburg, Germany
- Donato Montanari, general manager of the machine vision business unit of Datalogic Automation Srl, Monte San Pietro, Italy
- Olaf Munkelt (chairman), managing director of MVTec Software GmbH, München, Germany
- Klaus-Henning Noffz, chief executive officer of Silicon Software GmbH, Mannheim, Germany
