ATEX and IECEx approvals assure customers that the flow meters have been designed and tested for safe operations in hazardous areas. The flow meter's enclosures are also ATEX and IECEx certified for flame resistance, and are protected from dust ignition.
ST100 is a solution for 4-20 mA analog, frequency/pulse, alarm relays or digital bus communications such as HART, Fieldbus, Profibus or Modbus. Should a plant's needs change over time or an upgrade be desirable, ST100 adapts as necessary with a plug-in card replacement that can be changed out by plant technicians in the field.
The backlit LCD provides continuous display of all process measurements and alarm status, and the ability to interrogate for service diagnostics. ST100 stores up to five unique calibration groups to accommodate broad flow ranges, differing mixtures of the same gas and multiple gases, and obtains up to 1000:1 turndown. An optional, patent-pending SpectraCal Gas Equivalency calibration method lets users select and switch between 10 common gases.
The ST100 is the first thermal flow meter to offer three different types of flow sensors to best match user applications. The fast-response FPC-style features an integral flow conditioner and protective shroud optimized for compressed air and clean gas applications. The fast-response, general purpose FP-style features a protective shroud and is the sensor used with FCI’s VeriCal in-situ calibration option. For wet or dirty gases, or erratic flows, the unshrouded S-style facilitates easy cleaning and provides a smoothed response.

Product Application: LNG and CNG Replacing Diesel as Truck Fuel
Cryostar has developed fueling stations to deliver both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied compressed natural gas (LCNG), and aims to cover the entire natural gas supply chain. Its natural gas-based fueling stations already operate in Europe and at three locations in the U.S. Currently, Cryostar plans to roll out a new LNG/LCNG fueling station tailored to US customers, and to power and control these stations Cryostar plans to Siemens hardware and software. Download this case study to learn how Siemens hardware and software will help Cryostar power the new fueling station. Also, learn what the advantages of LNG and CNG are over diesel fuel.
