Server integrates devices into Ethernet network
Industrial Ethernet ServerThe FL-COM Server RS-232 interface integrates virtually any RS-232 device into a 10/100BaseT Ethernet network, allowing access to and control of devices via LAN, WAN, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and TCP/IP networks or the Internet. It has a DC power supply, DIN-rail mount, three-way isolation, surge protection, and redundant power supply option. Setup is done through Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator. Free communication port re-director software allows Ethernet access to serial devices as if they were connected to local COM ports on a PC.
