BLMFS5 flat linear motor has a steel-core forcer coil that provides continuous force to 377 N (85 lb), with peak force to 1500 N (339 lb). The moving forcer coil assembly contains Hall-effect devices and a thermal sensor. The forcer uses steel laminations to produce more force, making it ideal for high-speed, point-to-point motion applications that require high continuous and peak force ratings but require a low profile solution. Attraction force generated from the laminations can be used as a bearing pre-load. The motors are available with higher-power magnets that can be used to increase output force. Stackable magnet tracks allow for any travel length.
