Non-Ball Lead screws
Non-ball lead screws can be designed to self-lock and prevent back driving in vertical applications, without an external brake. Using sliding friction between the nut and the screw to convert rotary input motion to linear output motion, the non-ball lead screws are made with a proprietary coating, which eliminates the need for external lubrication and maintenance.
