FIELDBUS SEGMENT PROTECTORS

FieldConnex Fieldbus segment protectors connect nonincendive and general-purpose fieldbus equipment to a fieldbus trunk. Segment protectors provide short circuit and overlaod protection for up to 12 spurs. This protects all other devices on a segment against short circuit or overload in the event of a system failure. The units mount inside safe areas or Class I, Div 2 or Zone 2 hazardous areas.
