DISTRIBUTED I/O
Simatic ET 200iSP modular I/O system for hazardous areas has sensors and actuators connected directly to a bus system and the I/O system can be mounted in a non-explosion proof cabinet. The I/O is FM-approved for mounting in Class I Div. 2 and Class 1 Zone 1 areas connecting directly to devices mounted in Class I Div. 1 and Class 1 Zone 0 without safety barriers.
