Tofino Modbus TCP Enforcer loadable security module performs analysis and filtering of all Modbus TCP messages. Certified by Modbus-IDA, the plug-and-play module allows deep-packet or content inspection to block firmware upgrades while allowing HMI traffic, to tailor access permissions to PLCs for different stations and restrict access permissions to specific memory locations in a controller and to enforce read-only access to safety instrumented systems.
