POSITIONING PARTS
Portal axes are available with toothed belt or ball screw drive in various sizes. They are designed for loads to 220 lb (100 kg). The same adaptation interfaces are used on all units, irrespective of the guide and drive system. Tooth belt drives have stroke lengths to 216 inches (5,500 mm) and positioning speeds to 8 m/sec. Ballscrew drives have a stroke length of 118 inches (3,000 mm) and speeds to 3,000 rpm.
