PAC Project software suite, for use with Opto 22’s SNAP PAC programmable automation controllers, comes in two versions.
- PAC Project Basic is free and includes PAC Control, an intuitive, flowchart-based control programming tool with both a plain-English command set and a scripting language, and PAC Display, an HMI development and runtime application that includes alarming, trending, recipe handling, and operator security.
- PAC Project Professional adds the OptoOPCServer for communication with OPC clients and OptoDataLink for sharing system data with common databases, plus support for redundant controllers, complex network architectures, and legacy Opto 22 I/O.
