Industrial wireless and industrial Ethernet
The SNAP-PAC-R1-W is a rack-mounted programmable automation controller (PAC). It offers IEEE 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi wireless networking, two independent 10/100 Mbps wired Ethernet interfaces for standard Ethernet networking and one RS-232 serial port for PPP communication over modems or direct connection to serial devices. All communications interfaces can be used simultaneously.
The rack-mounted SNAP-PAC-R1-W provides control, communication, I/O processing, remote monitoring, and data acquisition functions. It is fully integrated with Opto 22's PAC Project software, as well as all SNAP PAC brains and I/O modules. Users can network these components using standard wired Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, or a combination of both.
Users can deploy the SNAP-PAC-R1-W for independent cell control or as part of a larger distributed control system.
