SCR-rated dc motors in 48, 56, 143, 145 and 184 NEMA frame sizes have output ranges ¼–3 hp, speeds 1,750–2,500 rpm, and 90–180 Vdc. They have NEMA-rated magnet wire with Class H insulation, high-temperature polyester varnish impregnated armatures, dynamic balancing to reduce vibrations, and oversized and sealed ball bearings with high-temperature grease.
