Multiprotocol technology for distributed I/O is designed to operate across all company’s distributed I/O product families in any application that uses a host system with Modbus TCP/IP (client), EtherNet/IP (scanner) or Profinet (master). On network power-up, the device will recognize the network protocol available to the network.
