The HMI Pad System is composed of the HMI Draw, HMI View apps and a Service in the Cloud, allowing automation engineers and machine manufacturers to develop Human Machine Interfaces that will run natively on iOS devices. Existing HMI screens can be replaced or complemented by iPad devices directly connected to PLCs with no need for intermediate PC boxes or servers. All native features on iOS devices such as geo-localization, accelerometer, gravity, rotation, code scanner, multi-touch gestures and more are supported.

Resulting HMIs run extremely fast with immediate response to user actions and instant reaction to PLC value changes. The development environment provides engineers with advanced tools for HMI creation, supporting powerful expressions and an extensive range of iOS native object components that can be linked together or with PLC tags using an innovative approach.

With an extremely low entry level cost of less than $1 engineers can start developing HMIs with no restrictions on number of tags, screens or PLCs. Once ready for end user deployment, engineers can install run-only versions of HMIs on target iOS devices with no need for physical access.
