The AlarmManagement module in Delphin’s ProfiSignal software provides a range of alarm functions for data acquisition and process automation. This module comprises alerting and alarm table components. The alerting component monitors alarm sources, records alarms and is responsible for initiating actions in the event of an alarm. Alerts are configured within the DataService/Configurator software available with any Delphin hardware device. The rules and conditions for triggering alarms are recorded and stored. Users can categorize an alarm's importance by setting up alarm classes and priorities. User notifications in the event of alarm can be sent via email, fax or text message.
