Kollmorgen Vented connector

This vented connector for the company’s AKMH motors reduces internal motor pressure by permitting venting during high-pressure washdowns. The connector’s design maintains the motor’s hygienic and venting features and maintains the motor and cable’s IP69K rating and caustic washdown ratings. The vented connector assembly is applied to the end of the cable that exits the AKMH motor, allowing the motor to vent at the connection point while maintaining the IP69K rating. This allows the use of either a washdown mating cable or a nonwashdown cable if the connection point is placed outside of the washdown area.
