This multi-conductor cable line now includes additional 600- and 300-V portable hard-usage service cords. Flexible power cable (also called service cord) has multiple conductors used for electrical power connections requiring flexibility and resistance to a range of environmental factors. Type SOOW and SJOOW portable cord is available in 18 to 10 AWG sizes and in two-, three- or four-wire configurations. The multi-conductor cable features bare copper conductors with Class K stranding. The outer jacket is constructed of oil-, weather- and water-resistant CPE thermoset rubber to provide abrasion and melting resistance; EPDM thermoset rubber insulation provides interior oil resistance.
