WMX2 EtherCAT Master motion control software can simultaneously control up to 64 independent axes and more than 10,000 I/Os at a communication cycle of 0.25 ms on a real-time OS. This is done on a commercially available PC with no dedicated hardware. The product includes the EtherCAT Master and real-time OS licenses; simulator; and EtherCAT Network Configurator 2, an all-in-one utility to maintain and monitor the EtherCAT network. It will run any combination of EtherCAT slaves on the EtherCAT network.
