Unfamiliarity with Standards, Device Integration Tops List of Machine Safety System Concerns for Machine Builders
More than 3000 people responsible for machine safety at OEM and end user companies completed a survey recently, the purpose of which was to better understand their knowledge of safety standards for their markets, their use of safety products, and their constraints and requirements. Despite 66 percent of respondents anticipating using more safety products over the next five years, the survey results demonstrate that most machine builders are unfamiliar with the safety standards and requirements that their machinery needs to meet.
