High Availability Architectures for Ethernet in Manufacturing

Outside of craft manufacture, like blacksmithing, or custom jewelry making, it is no longer possible to manufacture anything in any quantity without automation. In some cases, such as semiconductor manufacture, it is not possible to manufacture without automation at all. This white paper discusses the architecture for using Ethernet in manufacturing.
