The murmur about whether a manufacturing job skills gaps exists because salaries and wages in those skills areas actually are too low to attract interest, continues to show up. It seems to have moved from a low grumble to an audible growl.
One of the topics du jour is the lamentable fact that manufacturers cannot find the skilled labor they need. Thousands of vacancies remain open, jobs untaken or outsourced, because of the dearth of available high-tech brains in our midst.
With money, we can buy many things that make us happy, such as food, entertainment, cars, homes, jewelry, electronic devices and much more. Money still doesn't buy love, but some believe that it can lure it to you - at least for a while.
