The Tritex II Add-On Instruction set (AOI) and updated Expert Software to support the set have been released. The AOI encapsulates commonly used functions and helps to simplify the setup of external devices within the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture control platform. The Tritex II is an integrated drive, motor and actuator capable of communicating over EtherNet/IP when an EIP option card is installed. The AOI works with Tritex II ac- and dc-powered, rotary or linear models that include the EIP option card and supports the following functions: user units, control drive, drive status, jog operation, move operation and host mode.
