The Emparro67 Hybrid switch mode power supply allows users to relocate the power supply from the control cabinet to the field. It also monitors currents using two integrated 24-Vdc load circuit monitoring channels to ensure system reliability. An IO-Link interface permits extensive and transparent communication. The fully encapsulated IP67-rated supply has a robust metal housing and a 93.8% efficiency rating. It allows voltage conversion (from 230 Vac to 24 Vdc) to take place directly at the load, keeping power loss to a minimum. The power supply relocation allows for smaller cabinet usage or, in some cases, for cabinet elimination.
