The ET-208 operator interface, a 7-in widescreen HMI for Zone 1 hazardous-area applications, is available with Movicon, an HMI visualization software solution. Because of the XML structure of this runtime engine, Movicon-based projects are platform-independent and can be run autonomously on the HMI device, operator terminals, PDAs, smartphones or wireless systems. The graphics management offers an object library that supports the import/export of bitmap images and freely scalable vector graphics. The toolbox includes an object viewer for IP camera visualization: video streams from the IP camera can be displayed and parameterized on the compact operator interfaces.
