A variety of heavy-duty multi-pole connectors are available for use inside electrical cabinets with the connector on board (COB) series. The COB system does not need the traditional metallic enclosures to use multi-pole connectors inside electric panels because the electric panel itself provides protection. The system offers the possibility of rewiring at the connector bench with connected devices. Rear access to the inserts via a turnover device facilitates wiring inspection and tests with coupled connectors. A snap fastening device on the DIN EN 60715 rails speeds mounting in panels. The system includes a broad passage for housing of conductor cables.
