The Allen-Bradley E300 electronic overload relay integrates communications, including EtherNet/IP, patented current-measurement technology and I/O options, in a modular design. The modularity allows users to tailor the device to meet their exact needs. The relay’s native dual-port EtherNet/IP option helps to simplify network wiring by allowing the relays to be daisy-chained and by eliminating the need for an Ethernet switch. The relay integrates into the Rockwell Software Studio 5000 control environment via an add-on profile. It also offers a variety of digital and analog expansion I/O modules and contains a patented current-sensing solution that leverages Rogowski technology.
