HART Communication Foundation Celebrates 20-Year Milestone

Source: HART Communication Foundation This month marks a new milestone in HART Communication Foundation's history as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary in the process automation industry.The Foundation will host three end user educational events throughout 2013 in Europe, North America and Asia in commemoration of the milestone, with the first scheduled for April 9 at Hannover Messe 2013 in Hannover, Germany."This 20th Anniversary event "HART: Benefits Today and Into the Future," provides an opportunity for end users to learn more about the benefits and value of using the full capabilities of the HART Protocol, HART applications, products, and the future of this field-proven technology," said Ron Helson, executive director for the Foundation. Event InfoWhere: Field Communication Lounge (Hall 9, Stand D76) When: 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.About: Attend the presentation "HART: An End User Success Story," by Michael Pelz, head of process optimization and automation for the Foundation, followed by a panel discussion with Pelz, Gábor Bereznai, head of automation for MOL, David Eisner, chief engineer and senior engineering fellow for Honeywell, and Helson with moderator David Humphrey, research director of the Europe division for ARC Advisory Group. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with HART experts and users. Food, drinks and entertainment will be provided at a complimentary reception.
