Simatic MV230 compact height-profile sensor is a complete image-processing system for automatic inspection of objects via their height profiles or contours. Designed for manufacturing industries, packaging industries, and general machine-building engineering, its suited for tough industrial environments. It can detect height differences to 100 mm, accommodate up to 16 teachable profiles, and can switch on-the-fly via digital inputs.
