DeviceNet and CANopen communication cards are integrated into the PowerXL Series DG1 adjustable-frequency drive. These cards allow the drive to communicate with the other components running in the system, such as a PLC or other drives. The communication cards provide the drives the ability to process information and diagnostics. With the company’s Active Energy Control algorithm, the drives are programmed to adjust the operating point dynamically to minimize energy consumption. An enhanced graphical display and communication capabilities are embedded in the drive.
