The RMC75 two-axis and RMC150 eight-axis controllers provide precise closed-loop position, velocity, pressure and force control for electric, hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Users now can customize the feedback signals processed by the motion controller’s closed-loop control algorithms. This allows the controllers to switch between redundant sensors if one should fail, or to switch between sensors that respond to different measurement ranges or those that provide different sensitivities. The controllers have passed the EtherNet/IP conformance test, version CT13. This recertification status and related firmware updates to these motion controllers brings the RMC products 100% up to date with the latest EtherNet/IP specifications.
