Safety Controller Monitoring
The Status Display Touchscreen for G9SP programmable safety controllers is a plug-and-play touchscreen, displaying safety I/O error codes and enabling G9SP users to view the status of safety inputs. Users are able to reset up to four zones directly from the touchscreen. The status display touchscreen’s front panel is 96.0 x 96.0 x 7.0 mm, with an active display area of 58.5 x 58.5 mm. The display is LCD monotone, with 16 shades of gray. An EIP module enables programmable devices that follow ODVA guidelines for EtherNet/IP to communicate with G9SP controllers.
HMI ChoicesGraphite HMIs are full-color touchscreens in eight models and 7-, 9-, 10-, 12- and 15-in widths. They have an operating range of -10 and 60 °C and directly accept I/O modules for PID control, dc voltage and current, thermocouples, RTUs and other components. They include a built-in Web server to remotely monitor and control applications. Built-in protocol converter lets programmers select 13 or more simultaneous protocols from a list of more than 250.
The 15.6-in Unistream has a color touchscreen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and support for 16M colors. The CPU and I/O modules snap on to the back of the HMI panel to form an integrated PLC for users’ specific needs. UniLogic studio software is designed to predict the programmer’s intentions and reuse written code. Programmers build a library of user-defined function blocks and HMI screens that can be imported to new projects or shared with other programmers.

Legacy HMI UpgradeIf you need to upgrade or replace your legacy PanelView, the EtherNet/IP to Remote I/O or DH+ Gateway can help. The gateway allows legacy PanelViews on remote I/O to be upgraded to the PanelView Plus family (6, 7) on EtherNet/IP. The gateway can support up to eight PanelViews on the same network, and you won’t need to change your PLC code. The gateway also has a built-in Web server that can view diagnostics and current configuration and upload configuration files. The gateway can also be used for phased migrations of legacy remote I/O and drives.
