Back to Basics

How helpful do you find refreshers and primers on engineering topics? Do back-to-basics articles provide you with the kind of information that helps you to perform better as a controls engineer? Periodically, we publish articles that revisit the fundamentals on topics that span the controls spectrum. Which topics have you found helpful in the past? And which ones would you find helpful in future issues?

 •
This is the kind of information that is most valuable when you encounter a specific need. However, I could not even find a list of "back to basics" subjects that I could file away for future reference.

Even better would be to post your material in a way that search engines would find it, and welcome vendors and special interest sites to "deep link" to your material.

I, for one, would do this, if I could find a list of what you have, and if you would allow me to link link your articles to specific subjects on our website.

 •
I just read "The Not-So-Odd Couple" on motors and generators. Please keep these refreshers & primers coming, they are great.

I agree w/the other post that there should be a link on your website to get past primers/refreshers.

Thanks.
