The SDS-3016 series of industrial smart Ethernet switches feature Gigabit uplink, eight additional ports and an easy-to-configure industrial automation (IA) profile that allows automation engineers to quickly process the increasing amounts of data generated within smart manufacturing industrial environments and helps them achieve network interoperability and integration. They have three preconfigured IA protocols, two installation methods and a one-page dashboard for easy configuration. The series also includes an additional rotary-coded DIP-switch located on the bottom of the device to allow engineers to perform profile-based settings quickly without using a Web browser.
