Telemecanique Sensors' wireless and battery-less limit switch technology is now in a compact form.
When the operator pushes the button, or when the limit-switch head is actuated, mechanical energy is transformed into electrical energy. This supplies the transmission of a one-time radio message to one or multiple receivers. In addition, up to 32 push buttons and/or limit-switches can be synchronized to one receiver. The miniature version of the switch (XCMW) is compatible with limit switches like its XCKS and XCKM lines. Both the original EN50041 format and the miniature format versions come in plug-and-play kits and are offered in out-of-the-box compatible packs comprising the transmitter and a receiver.
The self-powered technology of XC Wireless and battery-less Limit Switches from Telemecanique Sensors eliminates battery replacement, battery recycling, and reduces raw materials.
XC Limit Switches from Telemecanique Sensors are available with a range of actuation heads. Pairing the transmitter to the receiver is a 4-step process. Receivers are available in two types: a basic digital receiver for local control or an Ethernet TCP/IP gateway receiver for remote monitoring.
The switches have a 100m (328 ft.) wireless communication range. That range can be doubled with a dedicated antenna.
