VisuNet RM Shell 4.1.1 for the VisuNet remote monitor HMI systems has been updated to support a management tool that enables shadowing (viewing) and the ability to control multiple workstations remotely throughout the facility from a single PC or notebook. The firmware supports Pepperl+Fuchs’ VisuNet Control Center, a tool that centralizes the control and management of thin client-based VisuNet remote monitors within a process plant and enables remote functions such as setup and configuration of profiles, firmware updates, restarts, shutdown and real-time monitoring. The product also supports KVM-over-IP profiles as well as additional security and Windows update features.
