New modules are available for the Productivity series of programmable controller products, and the Productivity Suite programming software has been updated. The P3-550E CPU is equipped with multiple communications ports and can be expanded with P3-RS, P3-RX or P3-EX modules. Local, expansion and remote I/O are assigned preconfigured or with user-defined tagnames. The P2-RS now has a remote slave expansion module. This module is equipped with an RJ45 Ethernet remote I/O port, two communications ports and a Micro USB IN port. New software features include viewable bit-of-word elements in the tag database, comments for bit-of-word and array elements and import of nicknames from DirectSoft and Click PLC projects.
