The slim-design ECI 1118 rotary encoder is 10 mm thick, has a diameter of less than 37 mm and can fit into compact applications. It offers an 18-bit resolution and an accuracy of ±120 in. It has a counterpart in the company’s EBI 1135 rotary encoder, which retains the same slim design while also offering the option for multi-turn capabilities via a battery-buffered revolution counter. This revolution counter can attain revolutions up to 16 bits with an external battery connected.
