EP5101 EtherCAT Box supports I/O connectivity to a wider range of devices outside electrical cabinets. This IP 67-rated I/O module is for the direct connection of incremental encoders with differential inputs (RS485). Due to the optional interpolating micro-increments functionality, the moisture and dust-resistant EP5101 can supply even more precise axis positions for dynamic axes. The EP5101 supports the synchronous reading of the encoder value together with other input data in the EtherCAT system via high-precision EtherCAT Distributed Clocks (DC).
