Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) degrees pay an annual average salary of $75,000 to $120,000, no matter what institution you received your degree from, according to a recent info graphic by Forbes magazine.
Emerging economies such as Brazil, China and India are already producing more STEM talent that the largest developed economies, the U.S., U.K. and Japan.
The cost of a STEM degree is much more in developed nations compared to any other countries around the world. In 2015, 88% of STEM degrees will be awarded to students in developing nations. However, an interesting exception to this data is European countries. Europe has a strong education systems, costing students in Germany as little as it is in Kenya to obtain a STEM degree.
