PBS offers educational programs to the public and it also offers programming that encourages children to be interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). PBS's various programs (Nova, Nature, Cyberchase, Curious George and Sid the Science Kid) are encouraging children to choose STEM careers. On its site, you can also find a STEM Education Resource Center for teachers.
