Mahr and its employees donate for hurricane relief

Management delivered $6,523 in donations to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Disaster Relief Effort
Mahr management delivered donations totaling $6,523 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Disaster Relief Efforts. The funds were collected at Mahr's Providence headquarters by means of coffee cup donations, Bingo fundraisers, bake sales and raffles. All collected funds were then matched by the company.
"Thanks to all of you for your generosity and compassion," said company president Brett Green. "Mahr employees have once again demonstrated what a great community of individuals make up the team here at Mahr Inc. and how we can come together during times of great need."
The company indicated that this batch of donations was collected prior to hurricane Irma making landfall, and that additional relief efforts continue, including ongoing blood drives at the manufacturing facility in Providence.
Mahr Inc. is a member of the Mahr Group, which has more than 150 years of experience providing dimensional measurement solutions. The company manufactures and markets dimensional metrology equipment. Mahr also produces custom-designed gauges and is a provider of calibration and contract measurement services.
