According to NAM, the organization is optimistic about the future eve though it knows many hurdles must be overcome when it comes to regulatory reform, infrastructure investment, workforce development and comprehensive tax reform.
The meeting comes as the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) released its first Manufacturers' Outlook Survey since Trump took office, showing more than 93 percent of manufacturers have a positive economic outlook. This is the highest in the survey's 20-year history, up from 56.6 percent one year ago and 77.8 percent in December 2016.
