Elon Musk is predicting that automation will soon make a universal basic income a necessity according to a report from Fast Company's Jared Lindzon.
"With automation there will come abundance," said Musk at the World Government Summit in Dubai. "Almost everything will get very cheap. I think we'll end up doing universal basic income. It's going to be necessary."
For Musk, the new challenge is finding meaning in life when you remove labor.
