Association for Manufacturing Technology Reports U.S. Manufacturing Technology Orders Totaled $435 Million in October 2013
U.S. manufacturing technology orders totaled $435 million in October 2013, according to AMT−The Association for Manufacturing Technology. This total was up 10.2% from September, but down 3.2% when compared with the total of $449 million reported for October 2012.
With a year-to-date total of $3,939 million, 2013 is down 10.6% compared with 2012. The report includes regional and national U.S. data on domestic and imported machine tools and their related equipment.
