Top 10 States for Manufacturing Jobs

Aug. 15, 2012
Industry on the Rebound After Several Years of Decline

Though U.S. manufacturing has been hit hard by economic recession and increased outsourcing, the sector has been adding jobs since 2010. Some of the most popular manufacturing jobs available are for assemblers, engineers, CNC specialists and managers, according to job site AmericanMFGJobs.com.

In some cases, high numbers come from high populations, but states in the Midwest are also trying to rebuild their reputations as manufacturing hubs.
