District President Dr. Kasper SchlƤpfer said customersĀ everywhere trust the products and know-how of the Baumer Group atĀ theĀ presentation ceremony of this year's Incentive Award, sponsored by Thurgau's business and industry at Baumer's headquarters in Frauenfeld.Ā
Oliver Vietze, CEO of the Baumer GroupĀ received the Thurgauer Apfel award fromĀ representatives of the Suisse canton of Thurgau, Peter Hinder, Jury Chairman and CEO of the Thurgauer Kantonalbank. The award, presented annually in recognition of outstanding achievements for the Thurgau business location, was tendered by the Thurgau Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Thurgau Trade Association and the Thurgauer Kantonalbank.
Schläpfer said the jury's decsion was based off of the Baumer Groups successful entrepreneurship. He emphasized the company's international competitive capacity in a highly competitive market and commented on Baumer's excellent reputation as an employer.
"Baumer provides perfect jobs," he said. With roughly 600 employees, Baumer Electric AG in Frauenfeld is still the most important and largest location of the Baumer Group and one of the largest employers in Thurgau.
Oliver VietzeĀ dedicated the award to the Baumer staffĀ during hisĀ recipient speech and said it was an incentiveĀ for future challenges.
"I am proud of our employees who are the real winners of this award. As a team we have achieved that Baumer has an outstanding image and is regarded as a reliable partner in sensor technology around the world today," Vietze said.
