Registration is open for the European Industrial Ethernet Award competition, sponsored by B&R Industrial Automation, which will evaluate unviversity teams’ proposed uses of Powerlink-protocol technology. Submitted projects will be judged on technological innovation, scientific quality and industry relevance. Winners will be awarded three main prizes worth €10,000, €5,000 and €2,500, designated for use in research work. The registration deadline is Feb. 28, and teams are limited to five persons.
