ProSoft acquires industrial radio product line from Locus

Company Prepares to Meet High Demand for Wireless Solutions
ProSoft Technology Inc. of Bakersfield, Calif, acquired the industrial radio product line of Locus Inc., which the company has branded and sold as RadioLinx the past three years.ProSoft reportedly plans to invest in expanding its wireless technology product offerings to meet more of its customer needs and will be looking to leverage future wireless development efforts into its in-chasis PLC communication product lines and stand-alone communication gateways. The stand-alone ProLinx communication gateways will be available through the existing Rep Channel, while the inRAx and ProTalk wireless products will continue to be sold through their respective distribution channel."We are extremely excited about the growth avenues that will now be available to us with the acquisition," said Douglas Sharratt, President of ProSoft.
